I have a filling that they waited for the guys from community to come up with bugs and solutions, round them (files and fixes) all up and make their bloody patch.

How can you even release the game in this condition and ask MONEY for it ? One can take a look at their last two release logs for patches and see what game stopping bugs where in there.
I for one had a game stopping bug in Yantar, CTD all the time, thankfully, there is a community patch from one of the smart players that fixes allmost all bugs. Fixed bug with my game thats for sure...

SoC was a warning, CS is a confirmation - don't buy GSC games until they are out for at least 3 months...

I bought the original on day one! Wasn't a bad game but I expected a lot more in terms of depth/time to finish. I felt they cut corners and content, likely saved it so they could release this and make a few extra bucks. Nothing has impressed me with this one so I bought Crysis Warhead today. Cool
