GPUs when used with an Intel processor? Fury X and 980 Ti video cards being paired with a 1.2GHz processor is not likely. Conversely, a GTX 670 or Radeon 7970 being paired with a $1000+ Intel Core i7-5960X for gaming is a bit far fetched as well, albeit much more likely to be found in the wild I would think.

Seems to me that DX12 is good news only to those with older and slower cards where the benefit from the CPU is significant.
Cards that are already fast won't benefit from the CPU's tiny bump... |
