I remember one of the most funny things of the original game is to make them fight between them selves. That simply 16bit AI was really delightful.

Yeah I am digging that!

+Multiple Sync-Kills per enemy
+Inspects new weapon when first procured (nice touch)
+Game slows down when you choose a weapon
+Ultra Gory deaths (ie. Chainsaw = G-O-R-E!!)
+Enemies have lots of different anims/attacks (ie. Reverent and Sucumbus)
+Enemies leave lots of tiny loot behind (should be less easy to get IMO)
+Typical fast-paced action as we expect from the classic
+Supports 4K gaming so environments look YUMM!

All in all.. looks BLOODY FUN! Twisted Evil

+ NO FUCKING SNEAKING!!! Kill or be killed
+ NO GODDAMN COMMANDERS - you don't have to find and kill some sneaky bastard while wasting your ammo to stop infinite spawn of nazis (they could have conquered the universe if they had this ability)

Well unsure on the sneaking as its still basically "monsters in closets" waiting to bounce at you so that part is "on rails". I would love to see more randomizing so playing coop with 4+ players in campaign would make each game unique based on skill. Yeah I am dreaming of course. The map design needs to tell a story so we're limited in that regard.

As for Commanders.. did you not see the 2nd Demo from the show? Oh there are Commander/Bosses. It would not be DOOM without em. Wink They are full on bullet-magnets!

Still.. its Doom.. I like it.. Modding it should be damn fun!

oh, you misunderstood me, it's my fault. My rant was about the Wolfenstein...you have to sneak because you will die if you are not playing on normal or easy, you wil lwaste ammo on infinite nazi spawns until you manage to kill the commanders (locate them, then find a way to them and not die in the process).

I have nothing against bosses and monsters in closets. Smile
