Playing the free version 4-5 hours in. Certainly not an impressive game at all. As I originally thought, not worth what they are asking. |

I personally love it, since it's back to the days of Baldurs gate. |

Game is lacking immersion and direction. I played it for some good 10 hours and just quit and uninstalled. Haven't thought about it at all until I saw this patch news here.
It's a good attempt but honestly, Baldur's Gate was good game, had immersion and direction. This game just takes mechanics from it and nothing else. And mechanics are outdated and are not what made old D&D games good.
PS. Drakensang: The River of Time is a good RPG game, imho, far better than this. Uses some German D&D system but it works and you hardly notice it. |

Loved all three Drakensang RPGs released (or was it four?)! |

I only played that one and the online hack and slash one (which is an entirely different kind of game so..) |

That's it, it's boring no direction, non-existent story. Totally. I haven't played it in days, doubt I will again. This being a kickstarter, I'm surprised how crappy it is. Glad I was right when I was dumping on it. Ain't worth the price tag.
I think it's insulting to have Baldurs Gate and this game's name in the same sentence. BG was 1 million times better and still is.
Drakensang, ya that was a fun series of RPG. |
