Pfft. You do realize it's peanuts, right? (Considering the total number of PCs worldwide.)
Where are those hundreds of millions of copies sold???

It's concurrent users. I think you missed that part. It's a hell of a lot. |

Its pretty cool but a drop in the bucket. People are playing CS GO, at least they finally upgraded from CS:S. Steam, GOG and GMG did very little with their shitty sales for me over Xmas. I bought a few things but nowhere near what I hoped. Not going to buy something they reduce by 17% only. Greedy bastards only hurt themselves. |

Didn't say free now did I dip shit? I'm not the cheap ass complaining about games and then goes out and downloads a ripped copy. No.. that's other people on here. Am I going to fork out $48 instead of $65 for COD? Am I going to buy Arma3 for $50 instead of $60. No, just like many others I'm waiting for once a year deal that usually happens @Xmas on Steam. Instead it's 'lure the idiot' sales for people with more money than brains. As it is I spent nearly $100 on steam and close to $60 on GOG. In the end I got about 10 games. How about you dip shit? |

This is just Steam users. This, of course, does not include the total number of gamers on the PC at any one time. |

I promised myself not to lower my IQ to your level. So I changed my reply.
I bought enough over the holidays. How about you? From what I understand you steal your games. Thus the constant moaning of copy protection. Of course I'm wrong. Yeah.
What I really wanted never really had much of a sale. In fact the sales overall have sucked. None of the bigger titles saw no more than 25% off. I ended up spending 100 bucks overall for 12 older but decent games like Grimrock. |

I did not get any games during the Christmas sale.
I picked up about 10 during the Black Friday sale though - that was a far better selection and deal.
Tom, since you're a Steam user, I take it you use IsThereAnyDeal, right?
I hear it's a good place to get notification about the deals via their wishlist.
If you have not used it yet, give it a go. |

No I don't use that, but I will look at that. Thanks. I was looking for specific titles. So it's a straight forward search. As it turns out the titles I originally wanted are now on sale or most anyway. But I spent my Xmas money and have way more than originally planned. So those game makers are out of luck for horrible timing on their sales. That with Space Rangers HD kicking dominator ass for like the 3rd time in 10+ years. I got many many hours of fun ahead of me. I am truly impressed by Dishonored and Legend of Grimrock. Sadly I missed the great deal on Grimrock 2. |
