The internet has been an amazing place for fandoms. Fanboys and fangirls can celebrate their love of a game, connect with other fans, and even reach out to creators. We now have the ability for greater levels of participation, but can this power turn ugly? Some fans spew anger and hatred when disappointed with a videog

I loved the forums when B&W was first announced and all the features that it would -never- have.
Fable followed the same route. Then of course molyneux binned the PC vowed never to write for it again and signed up with billy boy, or something like that. That I couldn't care less about.

It deserves to be ugly out there, why not? Your a liar and not to be trusted if you say something that you later rely on in a forum that turns out not to be true. What's the problem?
If you spout shit to the media -RTW2- and it isn't remotely what was promised, intelligent people have the right to NOT buy that game because we can make our own judgements rather than swooning over bullshit , that fanboys do.
I've been in more flight sim, sub sim, military debates than I've had hot dinners! And I've saved myself a pot load of money!!
Constructive criticism is paramount not empty cans making the most noise.

Yes I agree fanboy's ruin games but I also think it's game dev's who are not strong on their stance and bend to please the babies. Worse when they let in beta testers where changes can occur before it's released. Fanboy's suck but it's a dev who makes the call to fuck it up or not.

"Mommy he blew up my tank, tell them to lower that gun, it's unbalanced!!"

Oh look he got all his buddies to come on the forum and complain with him, oh well, I know it's only really a few dozen people complaining, but lets assume that's the mass population's feeling and lets change it.

Please a few, piss off the rest.

Fable went to console to make more money. There is no demand for Fable on PC that's worth a decent money return. As I liked the game and followed it and quit when it went console direction I don't remember at any time anyone saying F pc. A fable you made up. On PC most that played fable probably played from a ripped copy.
