model of AMD is called R9 290X and according to the latest rumors, it beats Nvidia's Titan card. AMD has not revealed any specs or price for this model as of yet. Limited quantities of a BF4 Edition card will be available through pre-order only, starting October 3 with select partners.

amazing. AMD makes a card that will beat Titan by a margin. The Titan, 5 years old tech from nvidia shrinked down and brought to gamers a year ago.

ATI always was and still is crap. Nothing new here. Suprised AMD is even still in business.

ati driver issues keep me away every time I look at buying new gfx card.

ofc I think both ati and nvidia suck in the new driver feature department... I want more progress on video encoding/transcoding..

Absolutely! Its never been easier these days..

As for the new R9 cards.. we shall see: I won't get anything which uses those Catalyst drivers. Nvidia's drivers always seem to work especially with third-party apps. Now ask the people @ Autodesk which cards they have the most troubles with: yep, ATi.

And the fact now that nVidia will be more involved with linux driver development, can only mean good things especially the fact their dealing with OSS.

No to boost my own movie making..

why would I want to pirate hollywood crap let alone waste time re encode it ...Can't stand watching the trailers they put out to advertise their trashy drivel.
