It's more like adaptive headlights http://brainonboard.ca/safety_features/driver_assistance_technology_adaptive_headlights.php

or what we *all* try to do in driving games, turn the hat switch so you can see apex etc. you can do this in Grand Turismo 5 in 3d using the ps camera. It tracks your head and eyes. Or you can use Trackir on PC.

This is the view I want!

iRacing + Eyefinity + TrackIR = DABOMB.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough free time to spend on iRacing that I can justify the monthly fee. The physics are punishing and the competition is just brutal, so if you don't practice every day you'll always be back of the pack or DNF. Still, it's the only program I've seen to support Eyefinity to such a degree than you can configure the engine with precise monitor placements and angles in order to eliminate rendering distortions. Very impressive.

Been there and got the t-shirt. From back about 95 I avidly played Indycar racing, NASCAR and Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix series. I would spend hours and hours dialling in bump stops, wedges, ratios, camber toe in/out brake bias. Win a race or crash after racing for about 20 mins with beads of perspiration and feel like I had completed a weekend! Those days are well over. My last true racing game was Grandprix Legends. I have no patience for it now, just like to think I have Laughing
