Nvidia has just released the latest Nvidia Geforce 314.21 beta drivers. These include the promised performance improvements for the new Tomb Raider game. Be warned, these are not the WHQL Nvidia drivers, but Beta's, which means they may contain problems or be perfectly fine as is the way with Beta's.

Anyone try these and have any comments? I am wondering more on the HD audio driver and how it's working. Not sure what was fixed or warranted a new version there. |

I've been waiting for this update. Basically I am hoping for significant improvement with Tomb Raider so I can use both TressFX and 3D Vision without the resulting slideshow (ok, it's not that bad but still a lower framerate than I'm comfortable with). If this doesn't fix it, then I guess that having both enabled is still too much even for my GTX680 (which is odd because Crysis 3 is still relatively smooth maxed on with 3D Vision). |

Well considering that nVidia was more concerned with Tomb Raider, I doubt there's anything in the HD Audio driver. |

You don't rev up the driver version unless changes have been made.
As it is.. I installed the new drivers and now XBMC is crashing and sometimes there is no audio. Never had these problem, so it convinces me even more they've made a few changes.
I'll be dropping down to my last driver. |
