According to the Quaterman's rumors in the latest issue of EGM, the sequel to the critically acclaimed

Shadow of the Colossus will be released on the Playstation 3. Not much is known at this point, but the report indicates a co-op multiplayer portion of the can team up to tackle the immense beasts.

Yeah. Why not take the COD formula and set it in the futor or take another fps and turn it into a side scrolling racing adventure.

Boy-yo. There are genres. Shadow of the Colossus isn't an FPS set in the World War Universe Very Happy

That'd be like saying Collin McRae made a doom like shoot-em-up game and all the fps fans would go all anal about how racing sims are too realistic and it's much more original playin' a shooting game as your most favourtiest racer of all time. I think. Is Collin McRae a real person?

Anywho kudos! Shadow of the Colossus is frickin’ sweet. Glad to see a sequel. It will be quite possibly THE title to get for the PS3.

Originality is a risk. Not always the new formula is favored by the gaming community. Even though the gameplay is revolutionary and, once gotten used to, quite enjoyable no one really wants to spend two and a half hours learning all new controls.

Took me a long while to get used to the PS2 controller after enjoyin’ other consoles. Made me almost furious when my eight year old nephew ‘owned’ me at ratchet and clank multiplayer. Crying or Very sad

This would be an excellent launch title for the PS3, the kind of game that sets a positive example to other developers. Really looking forward to playing it!
