All Characters In Versus Mode
Select VS mode and at the character selection screen hold Z on both controllers and press L + R
Hard and Super Hard Enemies
When playing VS COM, you can increase the difficulty of your oppenents by holding down L and R, then pressing A for Hard, or B for Super Hard. Press the same combination to change the difficulty back to normal.
Go to the level select menu under 1 player VS COM but don't press A. Instead:
Hold Z, press L, L, A, B - Super Hard in Panel De Pon
Hold Z. Press S, A, L, A, S, A, L, A - Unlock All Puzzles in Panel De Pon
Hold Z. Press R, L, A, B - V-Hard mode in Panel De Pon

Beat the game on medium difficulty.
Joker
Beat the game on medium difficulty.
KickChop
Beat the game on medium difficulty.
Lion
Beat the game on easy difficulty.
Sanatos
Beat the game on medium difficulty.
Metal Mario
Beat Story Mode with Wario on Normal or higher difficulty without losing a single match.
Vampire Wario
Beat Story Mode with Dr. Mario on Normal or higher difficulty without losing a single match.
