Play as Hidden Characters
Play as Kaede (Before the Awakening):
On the character select screen highlight Kaede and press X 14 times. You will hear Kaede talk to confirm the code. Then press A to select him.
Play as Kotetsu Naoe :
On the character select screen highlight Shigen and press X 17 times. You will hear Kotetsu talk to confirm the code.
Then press A to select her.
Play as Kouryu:
On the character select screen highlight Yuki and press X 19 times. You will hear Kouryu talk to confirm the code. Then press A to select him.
Play as Hagure (the wandering puppet):
On the character select screen highlight Akari and press X 17 times, wait 1 second and press X once. You will hear Akari talk to confirm the code. Then press A to select it.
Fight as Original Kaede:
Highlight Kaede at the character selection screen, then quickly press X(9), B, X. Kaede will speak to confirm correct code entry. Press A or Y to play as the original version of Kaede.
Mirror matches:
Highlight Akari at the character selection screen, then quickly press X(8), B(9), then repeatedly press Kick until Akari speaks to confirm correct code entry.
Ex mode:
Select Speed (Blue) at the mode selection screen, then press X(6), Left, B(3), Right, X(4).
Hanafuda Card mini-game:
Successfully complete story mode under any difficulty setting and any number of continues. A selection for the card game will appear below "Options" at the main menu.
Unlock Portrait Gallery
To get the gallery all you need to do is beat the game with any character. It'll appear on the main menu after doing so.
Unlocking Cutscenes in Demo Viewer
By playing through the game with each character, you'll unlock their ending, their mid-boss fight speech, and their speech after the mid-boss fight (latter only for certain characters).
Console > Dreamcast > Fighting

Hanafuda
To play the Hanafuda Card Game, beat the game once using any character, without using continues. The option will appear in the main menu.
