New Character - Commander
To get Commander as a selectable character, defeat him in Novice Mission Mode.
New Character - D.K.
To play as D.K. successfully beat him in Advanced Mission Mode.
New Character - Proofer
To get the Proofer, successfully defeat him in Advanced Mission Mode.
New Character - Scarpin
To get Scarpin as a selectable character, defeat him in Intermediate Mission Mode.
New Character - Shinobi
To get Shinobi as a selectable character, defeat him in Novice Mission Mode.
New Character - Siba
To get Siba as a selectable character, defeat him in Intermediate Mission Mode.
New Characters - Salamander and Dr.K
To get Salamander and Dr.K as playable characters, beat the final mission in Advanced Mission Mode.
New Colors for Jay, Alain, Lina, Talon, Neil and Tereshkova.
Beat Arcade Mode on Intermediate or higher to unlock new costume colors to use in Character Edit.
New Options - Sound Test and Movie Test
To open up new the Sound Test and Movie Test, beat all missions in Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Mission Modes. Sound Test and Movie Test will now be selectable in the Options menu.
New Weapon - DICW
To get the DICW, successfully beat the Mission in Advanced Mission Mode where you use it.
New Weapon - Enemy's Bat
To get the Enemy's Bat, successfully defeat O.K. in Advanced Mission Mode.
New Weapon - GLG40MM
To get the GLG40MM pipebomber launcher, successfully get the highest point total in the stage you use it in in Advanced Mission Mode.
New Weapon - Guided Missile 2
To get the Guided Missile 2, successfully beat the final Mission in Advanced Mission Mode.
New Weapon - PSG-1
To get the PSG-1, successfully beat the Mission in Advanced Mission Mode where you use it.
New Weapon - SPAS12
To get the SPAS12, successfully beat the Mission in Advanced Mission Mode where you use it.
New Weapon - Ump
To get the Ump machinegun, successfully defeat the enemy you use it on in Intermediate Mission Mode.
New Weapons - Medal Bomb, Life Bomb, Ammo Bomb
To get the Medal Bomb, Life Bomb, and Ammo Bomb successfully complete the 4th Mission in Advanced Mission Mode.
