Golden Sun 2 [GBA]
The Darkside Sword can be obtained by taking a Dark Matter to the blacksmith. It is rare to get from him, and is cursed.
The Sol Blade can be found at the Mars Lighthouse. It unleashes often and is the most powerful weapon in the game. Only Isaac or Felix can use this sword.
Once you get the Teleport Psyenergy, you can use it on the world map to go to any town previously visited.
The only way to get all 28 Djinn from the original Golden Sun is to use a password or to transfer your file from that game to Golden Sun 2. All 72 Djinn from Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2 are used to open a sanctuary in the town near the Jupiter Lighthouse, where you can find a Boss called Dullahan who guards the ultimate summon in the game.
Ive noticed a few people are having trouble finding these or figuring out what they're for(hell, I missed a bunch of them my first time around), so I decided to post a list.
Throws and ties those little ropes. You get it at Kandorean Temple on Indra.
Drives some types of objects(mostly pillars) into the ground. The Mars Djinni in the Plateau on Indra drops it when you fall on him.
Shows hidden objects and pathways(good places to use this have six objects/platforms arranged in a circlular pattern). Get it in Airs Rock.
Digs in the ground to uncover buried passages and items. Beat the Scorpion in Yampi Desert.
If you didn't bother to watch Piers demonstration, this freezes little puddles into ice pillars that you can jump on. Piers can use this when you get him. Mia also carries the Frost Gem.
A raincloud appears and drips water onto whatever you happen to be standing in front of. This is really only useful for Aqua Rock. Piers can use it when you get him and Mia carries the Douse Drop.
Shakes objects left and right. You dont really need this one(I think) but there are some items will fall off the boxes they're sitting on and more importantly, a couple of crafty Djinn that like to hide in statues. Its in the Madra Catacombs(I think. It isnt that important to remember.)
You get it after you beat the Serpent/Dragon thingie in Gaia Rock(Just south of Izumo, same island). It lets you burrow around in the sand kinda like Bugs Bunny.
Blows up stuff that's already partially broken/craked. You find it in the Tundaria Tower.
This one is critical for getting the trident together and for clearing the mast of the ship in Alhafra. Other than that, you don't really use it that much until after Isaac joins.
dries up nonmoving water. You get it in Aqua Rock, near the Apoji Islands.
Blows weeds away. You get this after you return to Madra after getting back Piers' orb. The mayor of Madra gives it to you. Important at Jupiter Lighthouse.
Works like Pound, but for bigger rocks. Get it from King Hydros in Lemuria.
When youre standing on a special type of floor, this makes you walk around in the air for a few seconds. It also makes your boat fly later in the game. You get this after you defeat Moapa on Trial Road.
Makes flames shoot forward. Only works when youre standing in front of an existing flame. Used mainly to activate the dragon heads and symbols in mars lighthouse.

To do a music test go to battle mode. Press and hold R when speaking to the girl on the left side that allows you to battle. To listen to a song, use the left and right directional pad and pick a #, then A to hear it. To stop, just press B.
How to get the venus djinni "iron"
When you are in madra, gocross the bridge to your left.then go down half way down on the land you crossed on to. you will see some trees. in between some of the trees there will be a little circle space. there are several of these. go and walk around in every one of them tell a djinni pops up to battle you. this djinni is the venus djinni iron.
Rename Jenna, Sheba, Pier, Mia, Ivan and Garet
To rename Jenna, Pier and Sheba: Press Select, Select, select.
To rename Mia, Ivan and Garet for non-linked games: Up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, up, right, down, left, up, select.
