Cyberpunk Developer Puts in 175 Hours and Still Isn't Done - briefly

The excitement for Cyberpunk 2077 has been palpable since its release date was announced at E3 2019. While that date wasn’t met, and the following one wasn’t met either, gamers are itching to see what awaits them in Night City. The game seems to be worth the wait as a CD Project Red developer announced that he has been playing the game for 175 hours and still hasn’t beaten it.

Someone commented on his initial tweet asking if that’s the time it took Babiel to complete the game, however, Babiel responded by saying that it’s, “just one of my ongoing slow-paced playthroughs on the hardest difficulty where I play more stealthy than usual, loot everything, use every feature the game has to offer, I take my time.”

This tweet makes it abundantly clear just how massive Cyberpunk is. From its granular character customization engine to its branching paths, the game seems to be filled with player choice allowing for each individual to take as much time as they need to get through the game. Obviously, this 175-hour playthrough might not be entirely representative of everyone’s experience with the game, but it instills a lot of hope for people who are excited to see every nook and cranny of Night City.

I am guessing it's because they force you to slow down forcefully - and not because there is 175+ hours gameplay in there. We will see how good this game really is when the speedruns come out - I bet it will be under an hour.
