Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon Expansion Video - briefly
(hx) 12:40 PM EDT - Oct,10 2017
Paradox Development Studio and Paradox Interactive revealed the price of Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon, which they announced during Gamescom, while also releasing a new video today that has Game Director Henrik Fahraeus going over this expansion’s features. For those of you who don’t know, Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon will cost $14.99, and adds China to the game as an off-map influence that can have a large impact on every match depending on how their empire is doing and if they like you or not. Most of this micromanaging is done through a new China Screen, where players can check the current status of the Chinese Emperor and keep tabs on him. Players have the option to become a tributary of the empire, but can fight the hegemonic Emperor if they chose to do so. Players can also interact with Chinese princes and adventurers that come west seeking fortune and fame. New Chinese artifacts have been added, and players must use the Silk Road system properly in order to successfully make money. Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon also fleshes out the game experience with smaller things such as Rally Points for levies, a dictionary full of Chinese figures, and eight new Casus Bellis.

Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon will release on PC sometime this fall for $14.99.
