BioShock Infinite - Auto Aim on PC - Fix - briefly
(hx) 04:58 PM EDT - Mar,28 2013
Looks like the PC version of Bioshock: Infinite suffers from auto-aim assist while entering the iron sight mode. At first, this bug was reported to be present once players plugged in a gamepad, however this issue can be spotted even if you've never used a gamepad. This issue/bug seems like a leftover from the console version, as this auto-aim assist is something common for most console games. In order to fix it, PC gamers will have to start the game with a controller plugged in, disable aiming assist in the Controller Options and unplug the controller.
Another workaround is:
1. Navigate to %USERPROFILE%My DocumentsMy GamesBioShock InfiniteXUserOptions ini.
2. Locate and open file XUserOptions in text editor.
3.Locate line bAimAssist and change true to false
PS, if the tweak don't stick just click properties and select read only.

Why did the auto-target bug not affect me? I don't use a controller etc and iron sights mode works perfect....?
