bitComposer sent out a press release announcing Citadels a new RTS game that aims to fans of historic strategy games as it is set in a medieval world full of myths and legends. Developed by the Bratislava-based studio Games Distillery, Citadels will allow players to experience the Legend of King Arthur in two campaigns; one fighting on the side of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and the other on the side of Morgana and Mordred. The player has the opportunity to construct mighty fortresses and defend them with traps and troops while making sure that production continues and resources keep flowing in. The right balance between economics and fighting is decisive to the outcome of every battle. Citadels will feature between several additional game modes, including a sandbox mode and competitive or cooperative multiplayer modes for up to four players. Citadels will be released worldwide for Windows-PC in the first half of 2013.
