Total Commander is so much more than it says in the description. The world would be a better place if everyone used it (_o_).

Go on, give it a tray if u still haven't.

Where is that TARD Lucas???? Ya figures the little c sUcker not around eh.. No more comments about spyware and adware on Firefox Lucas you retard??? Duh, ur stupid XXXX, duh duh and then he doesn't even use Firefox. What a complete DOLT.

I noticed the update on Firefox myself. Have to admit though since the last Firefox patch(1.5.0.1) it's been a lot better for picking up garbage. It doesn't suprise me that there are holes though! I think IE is still the most secure browser out there thanks to the milllions of hackers making it as such. The only problem with IE is Microsoft. Microsoft should be compliant with 'all' the internet protocols out there and not just the ones MS sees fit to support. I figured I'd try out that Beta of IE 7 and it still fails to support all the protocols such as xHTML.

I will continue to use Firefox as my main browser and IE as my <cough> backup. If it means I have to search for spyware and adware every day or so, so be it. At least I can view web pages the way they were intended.

dude, i bet i used firefox longer than you, latecomer. ffs, i was on it back when it was v0.4 pheonix, then v0.5 firebird then v0.6+ firefox. you jumped on the boat post v1.0. just because ive moved on doesnt mean i dont know a fuckload more than you about it

xxxx> At least I can view web pages the way they were intended.
bwahahaha... thats the reason you used last time we had this arguement; though that time you were attributing the statement to IE with your stupid "the web is written in frontpage" ideology. how your view can change so dramatically while you remain a fuckwith, ill never understand

xxxx(06:46 PM CET - Feb,06 2006 )
You said you didn't use Firefox. So why you are arguing and insinuating I said things when clearly you have problems reading English...

To quote Lucas the dumbass arguing with me on things he OBVIOUSLY HAS NO CLUE ON. This guy is such a liar it's incredible.

oh, and for what its worth, i dont even use firefox so dont bother accusing me of being a ff fanboy - Lucas

Man if you had a clue it would be scary Lucas, but ur just a dumb kid, dumb kid with a BIG mouth! Wow tell me that's a surprise people??!!

You are too dumb to even realize I am giving credit to Firefox not putting it down and actually putting down "some" of IE deficiencies. I have never who heartedly given my word/praise on IE. IE is a good browser and a SECURE browser, more so compared to Firefox.

Anyhow, Lucas ur a dumbass. But thanks for coming back and being a hipocrit and making me laugh! Duh I don't use Firefox but now I'm gonna say I been using it since the start! Oh look I can get historical version information let me post that to try and sound smart. ROFLMAO! ARE YOU FOR REAL? Holy RETARD!

Damn you're a riot! Are you seriously going to talk about others spelling and grammar (as that has anything to do with the their arguments...) ?!?!

You're either one sarcastic son of a bitch or just a straight up idiot. My money is on the latter.

You're comments make you sound like you left school with an 8th grade education. And these ridiculous comments like "...where's the TARD" and "dumb kid, BIG MOUTH.." whooooohh! LMFAO.

Hey all the power to ya though. Keep'em coming. This place in need of some comic relief. At least it's something other than your typical dry rants about Game 'X' or Hardware 'Y'.

xxxx(10:48 PM CET - Feb,06 2006 )
And I'm supposed to care about what you think? Pffff. You can't even spell but I wouldn't want to hurt your feelings and show you how to write in english.

I'll deal with Lucas how I feel he needs to be taken care of. If he wants to criticize my posts and suggest things that are lies, I'll deal with him how I like and if you don't like it well you can screw yourself Mr 2 posts.

First, he said he doesn't use Firefox(in another thread) but says in another thread he's used it since the start, accuses me of thinking that I think the world of IE and that everything is done in Frontpage. All lies. I've always used and even more so use Firefox today.

I was actually giving my support for Firefox BUT stating Firefox is NOT as secure as IE. I stated that with Firefox I get cookies and I get adware/spyware from sites. I do not get that with IE(with googlebar). As well I said Firefox supports sites better than IE. HX has since removed a pop-up from his site that had a scantly clothed woman on it. I mentioned that too. Lucas took his own interpretation and put me down for NO REASON.

The fact you support a clueless moron on this board, makes me either believe you are Lucas posting from another account or his boyfriend coming to try and save face for the liar known as Lucas.

Since all I do is rant, PROVE ME WRONG or shut up.

darkLogik(11:31 PM CET - Feb,06 2006 )
xxxx> I'll deal with Lucas how I feel he needs to be taken care of...I'll deal with him how I like...

Yeah, you go take care of him tough guy...

xxxx> ...you can screw yourself...

...and you said you don't care what I think? Sounds like you're the one getting your panties in a bunch.

xxxx> First, he says he doesn't use Firefox, that I think the world of IE and that everything is done in Frontpage. All lies. I've always used and even more so use Firefox today. IE has been for a long time a secondary browser since I use Mozilla and Firefox at work since the start.

blah, blah, blah...FIRST off...I could really give a sh*t. Honestly I hadn't even read all the messages. My comments were merely directed at the ridiculous flaming of yours that I did read.

xxxx> The fact you support a clueless moron on this board, makes me either believe you are Lucas posting from another account or his boyfriend coming to try and save face for the liar known as Lucas.

The 'fact' you say? Nah, like I mentioned above the actual topic of your discussion is trivial. I lent no support to any person.

...and for the rest of your comments about other accounts and the whole 'boyfriend coming to the rescue...' Sheesh - you say you're a grown man? Have you ever went back and read your messages? Sad really... down right pathetic.

I see you decided to go back and add to your message. What's this you say? 'Prove you wrong...' Tell me wise one how a person should prove another persons opinion false. All you do is bitch. Going off on how much everything sucks and is soooo horrible. The fact is you're a habitual complainer. The fact is you try and get in these pissing contests with everyone and, from what I've seen, usually fail miserably. The fact is anyone could go back and see your messages and that my friend would be your proof. Please do youself a favor, stick to fighting with the little kiddies. It's briefly entertaining and seems to be more along your caliber.

xxxx(02:30 AM CET - Feb,07 2006 )
If it's not about Lucas, Firefox or IE, I personally couldn't give a shit bud, read the topic and get a clue. If you're coming onto forums, claiming you've been here a long time, with a 2 post count prividing psychiatric assessments of people on a forum, you are the idiot. Ever hear of PMing people? If you want to exhibit the intelligence to use a PM rather than extend a conflict that is none of your business nor did it welcome or ask for your input, that's the only way I will continue this already stupid conversation I have had with you.

I don't know if it's just me, but when I see someone cut up someone elses post it always makes me think of a 12 year old with a chip on his shoulder thinking his shit doesn't smell and that they obviously lack the ability or intelligence to come up with a nice easy 2 paragraph reply.

Talk to you later Mr, oh, Mr 3 Posts... pffff.

Jelster(03:48 AM CET - Feb,07 2006 )
You never even responded to the original FF thread after two people called "bullshit" on your claims that FF was insecure and responsible for all your security failings.

If you're not prepared to back it up and discuss your point of view like an adult why post in the first place? You seem to be of the opinion that everyone should shut the hell up and listen to you because you know best. When people contradict you, you throw a hissy fit like a child.

TBH, I find your posts funny in a "Am I really reading this?" kind of way. What makes me sad is that people in the real world have to deal with you and I can't imagine a smug, self important, spoilt little brat is all that much fun to hang around or work with.

lucas(04:11 AM CET - Feb,07 2006 )

since it seems to be beyond your comprehension ill dumb it down
1. lucas used firefox
2. lucas no longer uses firefox, instead uses a webkit based browser with renders more of the web correctly.
3. lucas has never used IE since point 1, up to and including now.

xxxx> PROVE ME WRONG or shut up.
not going back very far
xxxx> Being that I was devoted to IE, approx a month ago I started using Firefox.
always used it, hey?
going back a little further
xxxx> Firefox has a lot of problems in terms of compatibility. Couldn't care less for it....
... I saw that Firefox.. just doesn't cut it for the diversity of webpages out there. Too many incompatiblies, especially with versions of PHP.

Firefox is for the MS whiners in my opinion. Everyone I know who uses firefox, disses MS all the time. Funny, since IE runs 100% of the pages out there, java, asp, php, what have you..

Firefox also has exploits, but with such a small userbase, good luck identifying em until they are fully being abused. LOL! I rather use a browser backed by a big company with lots of money, not some cheap ass company who bickers amongst themselves and ignores potentially big problems.

IE, has millions and millions of users and because of that it's probably the best browser out there quality wise. Don't listen to your buddies saying IE gets hacked etc, ALL browsers get hacked. Ask em for an example of an IE hack right off the top when they say it, watch them step back or change subject, because all they are doing is speculating on what all the other anti-MS peeps say. Most of em have zero clue what an exploit is.

Make sure your Windows firewall is on(Service Pack 2 required), make sure you have antivirus, one I recommend being AVG from Grisoft. It's free and updated all the time. Get it here
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

the second emphisis will become clearer
further still
xxxx> LOL! hilarious, IE owns the market with 95%. says alot for firefox and the other crap out there. i had the mixed pleasure of seeing firefox and no thanks, don't like it at all. there was a mention of it being faster too!? in what? loading time? the thing has nothing what do you expect? we started using it and we were forced to sit there for 45 mins installing plugins..the design is ok, but do not like responsiveness and i hate having to install plugins. on IE it is soooo seemless. in terms of loading pages, i'd say they are all pretty much the same these days. firefox if anything was a little faster but my net is already fast and the speed of IE is more than acceptable for me. zero interest in moving to firefox. hilarious though, oh we saw a drop in percentage point for IE.. oh oh, Bill better start packing his bags!
yeah, you were obviously never an IE zealot. always unbiased.
further again
xxxx> as for my computer, i don't run a firewall simply antivirus. know why lucas? because i have the intelligence to know what my computer is doing ALL the time. i don't surf gay porn sites like you, i don't go to beastiality sites like you and i don't go to Ronald McDonald fan sites. So you go back to your POS firefox(that nobody gives a shit about hacking or using other than the anti-ms whiners) and shut your piehole. simple enough for ya lucas/suck a ... oh wait, you know the rest.
so xxxx, what happened to that intelligence of yours? why are you suddenly running a firewall, that i was so obviously dumb to suggest to you?

DAMN, YOU FCKERS REALLY LIKE TO GET OFF SUBJECTS AND GET PISSY!

I feel like I joined a forum full of PMSing 12 year old girls who are also going through an episode of hotflashes (aka menopause).

Go on, give it a tray if u still haven't.

better yet, give it a 'sys' tray

Well I was planning on asking where you sourced the photo and why you was so sure it was the same region.

Sadly the same news post had an security announcement for FF and xxxx went into rant mode. I know we should just ignore him but on slow days its something to do.

Take a look at that link. Internet Explorer is the best browser. I use Firefox because it supports something that MS IE doesn't. Woo. Got me there? Not.

Firefox has improved since I said that, oh well, shoot me. I tried it again now based on the fact it supports xHTML. In doing so, I find it's gotten a lot better and PHP especially works a lot better. A lot of CSS issues are fixed too.

Lucas, I didn't think I'd have to defend myself on something posted back in May of last year! At that time there was a lot of problems with Firefox(some more hush hush than others), PHP, CSS and security bugs. Being that I work professionaly in internet security using Web browser technology I know what I am talking about, being that my work is solely in IE not Firefox I am pretty experienced with IE both at home and at work.

At work I get spyware/adware and trojans through Firefox. Only when I started using Firefox this has happened. Pretty ironic to me. So yeah, my opinion back then I stand by. Now, Firefox has vastly improved in 1.0.5 and it supports a function call or two in XHTML that I need for my personal hobby is the ONLY reason I am using it. As for the firewall blah I said it didn't matter what browser you use and I gave advice on what software to use which I still stand by.

I use Microsoft Firewall, always have and still swear by it. It's also enabled and installed with SP2. It does the job. My system(s) hasn't been compromised ever with Windows Firewall. Nor has it it with AVG. There is no proof to say that MS Firewall or AVG are responsible. AVG is the one that has detected the trojans anyhow.

So nothing you posted in your reply is meaningful or worthwhile at all.

You were defending Firefox at a time it was being exploited, had lots of problems and I told you as such. I don't think you know what happened to Firefox since then since you haven't used it recently, but it wasn't looking good for Firefox. Support was a question mark. It was only for some remarkable people that picked it back up and fixed a ton of bugs. 1.0.5 is a big release for Firefox, it brings it a little closer in competiting with IE.

I really hardly even know what you are complaining about since the start Lucas. I still think IE is superior to Firefox in all ways.

I don't know why I said I don't use a firewall, lol, I think that was directed at something else from another thread. God knows, it was back in May of last year..In between your immature PM's and your dumb posts I lose track. It was likely in regards to you supporting ZoneAlarm and putting Windows Firewall down in another thread posted in around the same time.

Pwned? I don't think so. Anyhow, I'm done and I stand by whatever I've said in the past until proven otherwise. Thanks.

xxxx> http://www.clickz.com/stats/sectors/traffic_patterns/article.php/3500691

Take a look at that link. Internet Explorer is the best browser.

no, that shows its the most common browser; likely because its preinstalled on the most common OS and most people dont know anything else exists. most people in this world are below the poverty line but that doesnt make being below the poverty line "best".

xxxx> Firefox has improved since I said that, oh well, shoot me. I tried it again now based on the fact it supports xHTML. In doing so, I find it's gotten a lot better and PHP especially works a lot better. A lot of CSS issues are fixed too.
ah, hillarity. do you even know the first thing about php? like the fact its a server side scripting langauge for creating dynamic pages? browsers dont "support" php, they support html. the server intrepts the php and serves them up a unique page IN HTML. i also like the way you claim IE the best browser then mention ff has fixed css issues. while true, they have fixed css issues, how can the "best" browser not even support css2?

xxxx> Lucas, I didn't think I'd have to defend myself on something posted back in May of last year!
i claimed you said it, you called me a liar, i proved you have no memory.

xxxx> At that time there was a lot of problems with Firefox(some more hush hush than others), PHP, CSS and security bugs. Being that I work professionaly in internet security using Web browser technology I know what I am talking about, being that my work is solely in IE not Firefox I am pretty experienced with IE both at home and at work.
i feel sorry for your company. someone who thinks of IE as secure involved in internet security, i cant think of anything dumber.

xxxx> At work I get spyware/adware and trojans through Firefox. Only when I started using Firefox this has happened. Pretty ironic to me.
see the problem with that line of reasoning is youve already proven you dont use firefox much, and havent done so for long. so how come you're the only one getting spyware from it? surely someone using it all the time would have come across this and made a post somewhere on the web, but no. though you do have that superiourity complex of yours, so you probably think you're the only one that goes to shady sites.

xxxx> I use Microsoft Firewall, always have and still swear by it.
again, we've already shown this isnt true so why do you keep repeating it?

xxxx> It's also enabled and installed with SP2. It does the job. My system(s) hasn't been compromised ever with Windows Firewall. Nor has it it with AVG. There is no proof to say that MS Firewall or AVG are responsible. AVG is the one that has detected the trojans anyhow.
this i cant agree with. ms firewall and avg are fine tools. better exist but those two do the job fine.

xxxx> So nothing you posted in your reply is meaningful or worthwhile at all.
see, this is a game i play... help with memory you see. i get into flamewars with you, remember what you say and they watch you change you opinion and deny ever having the old one. Oceania was never at war with Eurasia.

xxxx> You were defending Firefox at a time it was being exploited, had lots of problems and I told you as such. FYI i used firefox up until 1.5 RC1, its not like i havent used it in years. im not gonna bother with the rest of this bit, all done before and you didnt get it then either

xxxx> I really hardly even know what you are complaining about since the start Lucas. I still think IE is superior to Firefox in all ways.
xxxx> like i said, it's just the adware and spyware that firefox loses on
cant seem to make up you mind, can you?

xxxx> I don't know why I said I don't use a firewall, lol, I think that was directed at something else from another thread. God knows, it was back in May of last year..In between your immature PM's and your dumb posts I lose track. seeing as ive never pm'd you, and never used ZoneAlarm, i call bs. that must have the tenth time this post. you really are full of it

xxxx> Pwned? I don't think so. Anyhow, I'm done and I stand by whatever I've said in the past until proven otherwise. Thanks.
once proven otherwise you deny the inital quote. though its always fun arguing with you.

I'll leave it at this. I got no more to say to you you are obviously just a stupid person who has zero tech knowledge and don't even try to act like you know what goes on in the Tech Industry. IE is the most supported browser out there. People don't design million/billion dollar systems for Firefox you idiot. Or show me one that "requires" Firefox. AVG and MS Firewall are free and they are top rated applications and I recommend anyone that doesn't have enough money, doesn't want bloatware like Norton and Mcaffee, go with this.

Lucas, post all you want cuz I don't have time for this beyond stupid conversation. Another one where you just don't get it.

It's sad to see that there are people like you that just don't get it. I guess it comes with experience something you obviously lack.

I've never changed my opinion I still stand by everything I have ever said and you haven't proved me wrong anywhere. But nice try.

I wasted more than enough time with you, both in being harassed by your immaturity in PM's and your stupid in posting here. Go troll another forum kid. You bore me.

xxxx> IE is the most supported browser out there. People don't design million/billion dollar systems for Firefox you idiot. Or show me one that "requires" Firefox.

LOL, the only reason people would use the non standard features of IE over another browser is because its included with every version of windows. Up until recently IE was the only browser available. Besides these applications you are talking about are few and far between and nothing to do with the primary use of IE, FF etc, that of web browsing.

LOL the hipocrasy of that statement.

You were proved to say things you've later denied as saying. The fact your opinion isn't worth a w*nk is pretty much established.

To the reason I reply. This Slashdot post (Slashdot) here's a blurb.

Slashdot Article> An anonymous reader writes "Washingtonpost.com's Security Fix blog has published the results of a look back at three years worth of critical patches from Mozilla, and found that Mozilla typically ships updates for critical flaws in about three weeks, though in more than a third of the cases it pushed out a fix in ten days or less. The data comes just a few weeks after The Post published data from a similar study that found Microsoft averaged 130+ days to fix critical flaws. Slashdot also covered that study in a previous post."

I look forward to you denying you said IE was the most secure browser and MS were a huge company capable of supporting their product unlike the FF devs.
