ATI Catalyst 3.8 Drivers - tech

The official ATI's Driver page is now offering the Catalyst 3.8 drivers (WinXP ~ Win9x/ME) for the Radeon family of videocards. ATI entitled them as "the biggest and most improved software release in ATI history". For example, they claim performance improvements to applications that use the Z-buffer in certain ways. Tomb Raider frame rates improve as much as 20%. Giants - Citizen Kabuto also runs significantly faster. Other titles may also be improved.  There are fixes for games like IL2 Stumovik Forgotten Battles, Tiger Woods, Flight Simulator 2004, CounterStrike (setting 800x600/32/100Hz followed by enabling triple buffering no longer results in display corruption), Serious Sam 2, Project A3, Midnight Club 2  (corrupted textures on 7500), Neverwinter Nights, Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness (image corruption) and XIII demo.

to all who dont know.. though I think every UT site has mentioned it, Faceoff is back in development and the game is going to have way more features. Woo! This site is funny, that it would miss out on such a news story.. It's only currently the 2nd best Mod currently for UT2k3.. GameGuru... pffff(guru knows all, this guru dont,imo). At least you gave EA theives a nice review on their nothing new addon for MOHAA.

ATI is the future, it's king and it's still rising, nVidia allready bangle around ATI's knees, their only hope is the grasp themselves on some hairs growing on the BIG LEADER's legs ! Once ATI will scratch there, nVidia falls down the mountains, crying out loud, right into the burning pool of flames & hell.

These drivers are an improvment eh? WELL THEY STILL HAVENT FIXED C&C ZERO HOUR! GOD DAMN IT. Every time one of those microwave tanks comes anywhere near me the whole screen goes BLACK. so im still using 3.6........humbug!
