- Soul Reaver 2 Patch - Eidos Interactive has released a new
patch v1.02 (11.3MB) for Soul Reaver 2, recently released third-person action
adventure by Crystal Dynamics. The patch features new controller configuration
options, improved camera control and frame rates.
- The War Engine patch - Shrapnel Games released the 1.02
patch (1.4 MB) for The War Engine.
- Aliens Vs. Predator 2 editing tools - Monolith has released the editing tools for Aliens Vs. Predator 2, allowing mod authors to
get up to speed on altering this recent tri-species FPS (mirror: 3DGamers)
- Playnet Files For Chapter 11 - According to Icrontic, Playnet has filed for Chapter 11 bankrupcty. Playnet
also owns Cornered Rat Software,
which developed World War II Online.
- NASCAR 2002 announced - Papyrus and Sierra Studios announced NASCAR Racing
2002 Season, to be released sometime during February. NASCAR 2002 will feature every track
in the 2002 NASCAR (Winston Cup Series with teams, drivers, and sponsors of the 2002 race
season), new sound system and enhanced photo-realistic graphics and also new replay
editor.
- Homeplanet English website launched - Revolt
Games launched the official English version of the HomePlanet Web site. If you
never heard about this baby, Homeplanet is their upcoming space simulation/action game.
