Activision has released two playable demos for Empires: Dawn of the Modern World, allowing you to check out the upcoming 3D real-time strategy game by Stainless Steel Studios. Here is some description of both demos from 3D Gamers: The first demo is set in the Middle Ages and single-player only, offering the "Chapter 6: Heart of the Lion" scenario from the Richard Lionheart campaign and the "Chapter 4: The Coming of the Samurai" scenario from the Admiral Yi campaign, while the second demo takes place in World War II and includes the single-player scenario "Chapter 2: Hunting the Desert Fox" from the General Patton campaign, along with a random multiplayer map playable online or against a computer opponent. Mirrors: 3D Gamers, Tiscali Games, AusGamers (SP, SP/MP), Worthplaying.

Got the MP demo (which got on SP mission too BTW), and i love this game! Any RTS fan should atleast try it - great graphics, not too many units at once (no 100vs100 battles here sir!), and excellent difference between sides. Americans COMPLETLY different from Germans, and so on. As i consider it, they could make the game only about WW2, and it still was a good game. But instead, in full version we got 7 races, and 5 (5, right?) ages! Can't wait to see them all!
