Microsoft has officially released a playable demo for Rise of Nations, Big Huge Games' now-gold epic real-time strategy game. In the demo, "gamers can choose between four of the 18 nations featured in the retail version of Rise of Nations. Players will be able to play through the tutorial and then try their hand on the field of battle on one of four different map types." The demo weighs 194MB and is available for download from Microsoft's Rise of Nations page, FileShack, WorthPlaying, aTiscali Games.

great game, easy to play and lot's of game differences. too bad though that it's quite easily to win when you build wonders very fast. Nevertheless great job microsoft

this game is shit. its way too easy. the graphics look bad. there is no good implementation. its all talk and no action. its like a bag of poo. do you want a bag of poo? no not unless your into farming.
