Wanadoo, 4X Studio, and Dreamcatcher have released a playable demo of Iron Storm, the upcoming alternate history WWI first-person/third-person shooter. This demo clocks 144MB and features two missions from the full game and supports English and the main European languages. The demo is available for download from 3DGamers, Tiscali Games.

The game loads fine , but when u start a new demo or load a saved game it just quits back to desktop 29.42 WINXP geforce ti4200

Its works fine on my Win2000 latest Nvidia version 40 Detonator Drivers ! Ti 4600 !!!! I expected more but its a beta and its a best beta i've played in a while. Love the sniper rifle model and laser guide !

Ok using the 30.30 drivers the game works , seems abit buggy to me and well just didnt like the game :(

I agree BloodUK it was rather buggy in places and i must admit the game doesnt FEEL special. As for the motion of the character it looks outdated even UT has better modelling and animation !

Am I the only one having hard time killing the enemy? I mean, the 3rd mission is a pain... All my fellow soldiers die or are stuck getting the weapons out of the boxes, hmm!

BloodUK my original comments were posted after playing the game for a few minutes and what i meant by "its a best beta i've played in a while" is that it didnt crash after the splash screen as typical beta !

yeah BloodUK i tried it GFX were ok but again it wasnt anything special. As for IS its pure hype again, the only thing i love about this game is the SNiper Rifle its the most realistic rifle i've seen. It seems that the weapons were based on advanced versions from RTCW dont you think ?
